RZN dampers have proven themselves well in critical application conditions when other working bodies operating on the principle of check valves cannot perform their tasks.The double eccentric support of the flap disc provides optimal hydrodynamic properties, low hydraulic resistance and no jamming in the seat. The developed damping system guarantees reliable and progressive backflow sealing during long-term operation. Due to the compact design, these dampers can be installed even in the most cramped conditions. In the design of rotary dampers, in principle, all internal threaded connections are additionally fixed by mechanical locking devices.

 


RZI dampers, developed on the basis of well-proven RZN type dampers, can also be used for pipeline diameters of more than 1000 mm. In addition, they are equipped with an optimizing damper system designed for critical applications of these dampers. A special braking system developed by ADAMS can be adjusted to any value and adjusted alternately. In addition to the possibility of damping in three separately adjustable ranges, there is also the possibility of fixing the working body at any point of the locking path. The locking characteristic can thus be adjusted to the operational requirements of the pumping unit, which will be guaranteed to prevent the development of a critical sharp increase in pressure.

 


FCV dampers. During the development of the dampers, the experience of many years of operation of shut-off valves on large steam turbines and compressors was used. Under the influence of the energy accumulated under high pressure in the pipeline system, steam turbines can abruptly reach an exceeded number of revolutions when the load is discharged. In critical cases, the flow direction may change for up to 0.2 seconds. In this case, there is a danger in the compressors that as a result of an emergency shutdown, a sharp pressure drop will occur on the discharge side and the flow will change its direction for a few fractions of a second. Conventional flaps acting on the principle of check valves, in such cases, are damaged under the influence of large dynamic forces. The extremely powerful design of FCV dampers, which has very low inertia moments, is able to withstand even very fast locking movement. Due to the inclined position of the seat, independent/automatic/locking under the influence of its own weight, a small amount of hydraulic resistance, high sensitivity to actuation and more reliable operation are provided. FCV dampers can be used with various control systems and be equipped with a variety of accessories.

 


GMZ dampers are a special type of rotary return dampers designed specifically for use in the discharge pipelines of air and gas compressors in order to protect the compressors from a dangerous change in flow direction. Hydraulic resistance is reduced to a minimum level due to extremely low intrinsic friction and the presence of a counterweight with fine adjustment. The locking movement is damped by means of an adjustable hydraulic cylinder. The design in the form of a welded structure allows the use of special materials for special operational requirements.

 


Flaps MAG. The main distinguishing features of MAG type dampers are: fast response to flow changes, low hydraulic resistance and optimal unlocking performance. Therefore, dampers of this type are often used in steam and gas systems in order to protect steam turbines and compressors from reverse flow. High reliability in critical operating conditions is confirmed by the diverse use of MAG dampers in the pipelines of products from gas pyrolysis plants.
