NTK dampers, the principle of operation of which is based on a special sealing method developed by ADAMS, ensure tightness both in the low-temperature and high-temperature range. Thanks to the triple eccentric sealing system, the dampers move easily and with little friction; when the dampers are unlocked, they are uniformly squeezed out of the specially shaped sealing surface of the housing at all points. When locking the dampers, a solid O-ring without clamps and jamming is pressed against this sealing surface. Temperature fluctuations are perceived by the seal without compromising its performance. All types of such seals have a long service life and are not susceptible to breakage. Stuffing boxes or cuffs are provided as shaft seals. The choice of material is determined by the properties of the medium, pressure and temperature.

 


The MAK fittings with the ADAMS patented sealing system have a long service life in extreme conditions and with a high frequency of inclusions, and are also an extremely effective solution for cases where the use of universal, maintenance-free fittings with a metal seal is required. Metal seals, powerful construction and controlled long-term fire safety guarantee a wide variety of application possibilities in a wide range of temperatures and other requirements. The sealing system integrated into the housing is available in two versions: with a metal seal L2, which has high elasticity, or with a metal-graphite plate seal. The special sealing profile guarantees the absence of jamming even at large temperature differences and high nominal pressure. The modification with a double flap is two homogeneous flap discs. The advantage of this modification is that a vacuum (pumping out leaks) or pressure can be created in the space between these two disks while maintaining double-sided tightness.

 


Flaps HPV. The metal seal of the dampers is capable of taking heavy loads; the rotation of the dampers disc when unlocking / locking is carried out with little friction; the disc departs from the counter surface, which has a special shape, along the entire perimeter. The loads arising under the influence of large forces on the sealing surface are evenly distributed over the entire area. The combined torque and displacement shutdown ensures optimal torque transfer to the sealing surface of the seat, due to which automatic adjustment is carried out. The use of HPV dampers in the district heating system gives an additional economic advantage, which consists in the fact that they can be used for direct underground installation, without equipping any expensive shaft structures, only through the use of special insulation.

 


WAK dampers have an affordable price and are used in various fields. The optimal hydrodynamic shape of the flap disc ensures their easy and vibration-free running. In the closed position, the flap is tightly pressed against the seal located in the housing. The process of unlocking and locking occurs with little friction and without jamming. The sealing system itself, as well as the sealing materials carefully selected for the appropriate operating conditions, guarantee reliable sealing, high performance and long service life. Sealed WAK dampers can be used as multi-purpose dampers in a wide variety of applications - including for aggressive environments - for example, for drinking water, seawater, wastewater, hydrocarbons, high-calorie natural gas, etc.
