OSK dampers. Due to its compact design, small mounting lengths for all pressure stages and low weight, OSK dampers are recommended for use as an economical shut-off body in pipelines transporting liquid and gaseous media. The working body having an optimal hydrodynamic shape, mounted on a double eccentric support, with a conical sealing system ensures the uniformity of the flow without the formation of dead zones. The solid seal of the flap has a high resistance to hydrodynamic forces; low moments of friction forces guarantee low wear. The damper shafts are supported by sliding bearings outside the flow section and are sealed from the medium using a 0-shaped or graphite ring. The use of gummed coatings and welded steel structures, as well as the use of stainless steel fittings, ensures corrosion resistance and a high degree of adaptability to customer requirements.

The DSK/ASK dampers have proven themselves well as executive bodies in regulating the flow of gaseous and liquid media in order to optimize it. Due to the rotation of the flap disc by a certain angle, a corresponding change in pressure occurs, and, consequently, the flow rate of the flowing medium. Depending on the operational requirements, this type of valve is equipped with electric, pneumatic or hydraulic control systems. When using pneumatic or electric control circuits, these dampers can be equipped with pneumatic or hydraulic actuators with positioners. Remote position sensors and limit switches are installed for remote control. To simplify maintenance from the site, flaps of this type can also be equipped with spring-loaded safety stuffing boxes.
